Kingsford is an inner city suburb located 3.5 kilometres southeast from Sydney's CBD. It is bounded by Randwick and Kensington to the north, the suburbs of Randwick and South Coogee to the east, by the suburbs of Maroubra, Daceyville and Eastlakes to the south and Kensington to the west. Kingsford offers a convenient cosmopolitan lifestyle within a short drive to several of Sydney’s most famous beaches at Bondi, Coogee and Maroubra. The beautiful beaches of the Eastern Suburbs are close by Kingsford and beckon swimmers and surfers. The suburb is also just a short distance to the renowned 6km Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, which is well frequented by fitness enthusiasts and walkers who love the beautiful views. Nearby are five golf courses - St. Michael's, The Coast, The New South Wales, The Australian and Randwick. Also nearby is Randwick Racecourse and Centennial Park, which features jogging/walking/cycling/roller blade tracks, horseriding, playing fields and many picnic spots. The suburb also has a number of parks such as Paine Reserve and Snape Park. If you love going to the movies, Hoyts Cinemas are located at the Eastgardens Shopping Centre in Pagewood, or there is the Ritz at Randwick. And there are two theatres in adjoining Kensington – the NIDA Theatre and Parade Theatre.
